Global Connects are excited to announce the latest addition to our team – our new Translation Project Manager, Mollie.

Mollie comes to us with previous experience of working as a project manager for 2 other Scottish translation companies, so we feel extremely lucky to welcome Mollie’s breadth of experience, and after only 2 weeks she has firmly settled in as an important part of the Global Connects family.

Mollie graduated with a 2:1 in Italian and French from Strathclyde University and immediately embarked on her project management career. She spent her year abroad teaching in the north of Italy, at a ‘liceo scientifico’ – that’s a science high school to you and me.

Already Mollie has started to make a big impact at Global Connects, building strong working relationships with our colleagues, clients and linguists.  Mollie has said on joining Global Connects “I wanted to further my skills and knowledge in the translation industry, particularly within the public sector. Global Connects is a reputable company with several accreditations that can help me learn and develop in my career as a PM” – and we can’t wait to help you along this next part of your career path!

One last interesting point about Mollie is that she was born in Australia and also spent some time living in Doha as a child. After a youth spent in Aberdeenshire we are happy she has opted to make Glasgow her home, along with her partner and adorable cat.

Bienvenue !

Fiona Woodford, Head of Language Services & Account Management, Global Connects.
