Our Video Remote Interpreting service (VRI) offers a solution when face-to-face interpreting is either impractical or not cost-effective and where Telephone Interpreting alone would not be enough due to the need for visual contact with the interpreter.
VRI can be used on most tablets, mobile devices, desktop computers and laptops. The only requirements are a video camera, microphone and stable internet connection.
The system is easy to use, with a link to the video meeting emailed to you in advance of the appointment. Users simply click the link on a device set up with a video camera and microphone and we are ready to go.
Video Remote Interpreting is also suitable for most situations where face-to-face interpreting would traditionally be used.
